Who We Are

Shoresh (Hebrew for ‘root’) is a ministry that seeks to nourish the Church by teaching the biblical heritage we share with the Jewish people, restoring the Jewishness of the Christian faith.

The goal of Shoresh teaching programs is to shed light on the Jewish life of Jesus and its implications for Christian discipleship. As 21st Century Christians we are far removed from the first-century world of Jesus and the cultural context of His ministry. Understanding our own Jewish roots gives us a clear picture of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. Shoresh offers programs designed to deepen Christian discipleship and foster a loving witness to the Jewish people.
