Passover in Your Home

Want to celebrate a simple Passover in your home?  Try this…

& Buy some wine or grape juice, matzah, parsley and lamb.

& Cook the lamb on the grill or however you like.

& Set your table with the wine, matzah, a bowl of salt water, parsley and your lamb.   Don’t forget you are doing this in remembrance of the Lord.  You can dress it up as much as you want or keep it as simple as you like.

& Gather your family around the dinner table and read the account of Israel’s exodus from Egypt.  Then read the account of Jesus’ last Passover with His disciples.

& As you share the matzah and wine, bless the Lord for His blood represented in the wine and His body represented in the matzah.   Remember that you are eating matzah, parsley (dipped in salt water), and lamb according to God’s instructions and in remembrance of Jesus.

& Spend some time sharing with one another how the Lord has redeemed you from bondage.

& Thank the Lord for redeeming Israel and you.
